ACUNoVA Acupuncture

Acunova is a new acupuncture protocol, invented by John Boel, that is showing measurable results in treating macular degeneration and other eye diseases. John Boel has found that 85% of patients treated with this protocol will have a favorable response, depending on the type of eye disease.

This intensive treatment involves acupuncture points in the hands and feet that are not associated with any other acupuncture system. Two points also used are located near the eyebrows and studies show that these points increase blood circulation to the retina. Needles are NEVER placed in the eyes.

Acunova Treatment Protocol

The treatment protocol consists of 2 needling treatments a day, for 5 days over a two week period, then a week break, followed by another 10 treatments, for an overall total of 20 treatments. Baseline vision evaluation will be obtained prior to treatment initiation, and repeated at the end of each of the 10 treatments. These evaluations are used to assess visual improvement produced by the treatments, not to diagnose specific disease processes. About 80% of clients notice some changes within the first 10 treatments. Based on the severity of the existing disease and other contributing health factors, I may suggest that this protocol is repeated every 3 months.

Follow up generally consists of one twice a day session, every other week for 2-3 months. This may be altered based on personal health needs and tailored into an individual treatment plan.

What is the secret behind AcuNovas’ success?

A healthy body “repairs” itself all the time. This natural healing process can sometimes stop e.g.: Hereditary factors, poisoning, radiation, serious injury, trauma, viruses and bacteria, and nutrient deficiencies. AcuNova’s secret is simple: it can restart the natural healing process when it is stalled. Or in other words: AcuNova is using nature’s own healing method to treat the cause of the problem – not the symptoms. Therefore, there are no side-effects linked to the AcuNova treatment.

Spreading

Since its inception in the late 1900, a lot has happened. Each month, more than one million patients worldwide are treated by the more than 4,000 students from 50 countries who have learned AcuNova. These patients get their hope back – they get a second chance for a better life without disease. AcuNova has been presented at several international acupuncture and medical conferences in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, China, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, and Sri Lanka, where “The Open International University for Complementary Medicine” due to the Discovery of AcuNova honored John Boel with “Acupuncturist of the Century” – as the first in the world.

What can be TREATED?

Experience shows that AcuNova is especially suitable for the treatment of: Acute pain, e.g., sports injuries. Chronic pain such as arthritis. Organic diseases, e.g., asthma and colitis. Blind and visually impaired, e.g., AMD (ARMD).

According to John Boel, about 80% of patients with so-called incurable eye diseases, get at least a part of their sight back. With heir AMD patients (age-related macular degeneration), they have calculated that they have achieved an average improvement of 27% in 83% of patients.
